I am a freelance journalist. I am also a Wikipedia editor. Most of the time I contribute to Wikipedia without any payment or instruction. However, I am sometimes called upon to assist aan individual or clientorganisation to create a Wikipedia page. This is not because they wish for PR or promotion, but because they feel they are an institution that is worthy of inclusion in an encyclopedia, and they wish to be guided. In cases like these, they require my help in avoiding the pitfalls of submitting information that does not follow Wikipedia guidelines. Most of the time, these are clientsentities in the education, public service, or non-governmental field.
