I've had this discussion with other people (the basketball hockey thing) and of all the guys I've know who were good in both, they always liked hockey better. It's kind of a game you have to play to understand, and if you're not in a cold climate you most likely will not grow up with ice in your park (or backyard, or pond, or whatever). Definitely probably the funnest sport to play out of the major four, no question. Nothing like flying around out there, boarding someone, taking a slap shot. The other sports don't compare. :2 cents::thefinger:2 cents:
As far as junior olympics (you mean the IIHF?) watch out for our boys in four years! America is no joke, we are just getting better and better with each passing decade. I thought after our last generation (Hull, Modanno, LeClair, Roenick, Tkachuk, Amonte, Richter etc.) we were over. Nahuh.... as long as Ryan Miller's there, we are a force.

Ovechkin is without question the best and most dangerous scorer in the hockey. Crosby is without question the best player in hockey. There is a difference between being selfish and a team player. Team players win championships.
So Canadas better at hockey. At least were better at just about everything else. Except Ice Shuffleboard.

At the 1976 Winter Olympics, there were 37 events in total.
More events have been added in almost every Winter Olympics as it goes along, makes it easier to win more medals.
Still a great acheivement, but its kind of skewed :dunno:
