One great thing about the Souls games' gameplay is the roleplaying aspect. I love creating cool looking character builds My DS3 character is awesome Also once you learn the moveset for the ultra greatswords, you can maneuver them in tight spaces decently. They are quite hard to use in that regard though. |

But anyway, from what I've seen so far Ray seems more like a Bass-esque character than a Zero-esque or Protoman-esque character. That may change later in her campaign though. There is one critical hint I have to offer for Trinity's second form if you're interested and don't already know it: You can completely absorb her stalk segments like you can with a normal enemy. I really like how much replay value the game has, such as with the challenges you mentioned. I'll probably do a hard difficulty run after I beat Ray's mode (dunno if I want to try the hardest difficulties or not) since it sounds like the bosses and such might have more to offer. I myself have gotten a bit sidetracked since I go hooked on Axiom Verge last night, though. I'm not sure what you're referring to but if they're the 'stem' of the flower-like form then yeah I'm kind of aware of that. I haven't tried since my post but in the last run I did (in which I wasn't suicidal), I kept failing on a basic level. Like I know where the next attacks would be coming from, but still messed up and got hit. Or never paying attention to how many shots I need to land before I can dash through. My reaction speed is terrible too <.< I think I'll go for Hard and Hyper difficulties, but I won't try Maniac. I mean I did try Hell or Hell mode in Devil May Cry which is similar (enemies at full health, you die in one hit) but with MN9 it will just make me go mad. |
